Boundary Waters Action Fund

The Boundary Waters is a 1.1 million-acre Wilderness in Northeastern Minnesota. It is America's most visited Wilderness. The Boundary Waters Action Fund is a 501(c)4 dedicated to protecting the Boundary Waters Wilderness from the threat of sulfide-ore copper mining in the watershed of the Boundary Waters.

The Boundary Waters is America's most visited Wilderness.

The Boundary Waters is canoe country. It is the largest Wilderness east of the Rockies and north of the Everglades. Along with the Superior National Forest, it contains 20% of all the freshwater in the entire National Forest System.
